The Arikok National Park is a protected area and was first founded in 1997. It was named a national park due to the protection of the flora, fauna, geology, and historical remains. The park is about 7,907 acres and sits in the northeastern part of Aruba. On the eastern part of the park there are caves and grottos. The land in Aruba is not usually a lush tropical forest but there are some tree species that were able to survive and make this park look amazing.
